Biography

Ashley Filip Hoffman is an Associate General Counsel focusing on health care transactions, pharmacy issues, scope of practice, credentialing and medical staff issues, and regulatory matters.  Prior to joining Emory's Office of General Counsel, she was an associate with the Atlanta law firms of King & Spalding and Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs, where she represented health care providers in compliance and reimbursement matters, False Claims Act litigation, government investigations, and regulatory disputes.  She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Orinda D. Evans, on the United States District Court in Atlanta, and the Honorable Frank M. Hull, on the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  Ashley is a member of the Board of the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys.  She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Health Lawyers Association.
