Biography

Amy Adelman is the interim senior vice president and general counsel focusing on employment law, faculty issues, student matters, and human resources issues. Prior to joining Emory in September 2003, Amy was a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton in its labor and employment law section. A 1988 cum laude graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University, Amy continued her education at Washington University School of Law, where she wrote for the Washington University Law Quarterly and participated in Moot Court. In addition to her bar membership in Georgia and the District of Columbia, Amy belongs to the labor and employment section of the Georgia Bar. Amy has coauthored articles in such publications as the Employee Relations Law Journal and has spoken extensively on a variety of employment law topics.
